Custom Shirts for Businesses at A1A Print Shop in Fort Pierce, Florida

The part most shops get wrong

A business shirt order is never one order. You will hire people. Shirts get destroyed. Somebody leaves with theirs. What matters is not the first run — it is whether run number four, eighteen months later, still matches.

Create an account and every job you have ordered stays there with the artwork, garment, colors, placement, and size breakdown saved. Reordering is a couple of clicks, and because your screens and digitized file are on file, setup is free.

Design it, see it, order it

Most print shops ask you to email artwork and describe what you want. Then you wait, and hope the thing that shows up matches the thing in your head. We built the editor to delete that entire gap.

  1. Design itOpen the editor, pick your garment, and drop your artwork onto it. Move it, scale it, set your print size and placement. You are not describing what you want to somebody over the phone — you are building it.
  2. See itThe shirt on screen is the shirt you get. Real garment, real color, real print size and position, with your quantities broken out by size and color. What you see is what you get, before you spend anything.
  3. Order itThe price updates live as you change quantity, colors, garment, and locations. When it looks right, check out. No quote request, no waiting two days for an email, no phone call unless you want one.
  4. Approve itYou already approved it — you built it. We confirm the file and flag anything that will not print well before it goes on press, so nobody ever says "wait, that is not what I meant."
  5. We produce itYour order generates the production paperwork directly: separations, ink colors, placement, size breakdown, per location. Nothing gets retyped, so nothing gets mistyped.

No phone calls. No paper forms. No guessing. Start your order and you will have a real price in about two minutes.

What to put your logo on

  • Embroidered polos — front-of-house, sales, management. Reads professional without a jacket.
  • Screen printed tees — warehouse, shop floor, install crews. Cheap enough to replace, tough enough not to need to.
  • Embroidered caps — the highest-visibility, lowest-cost thing you can brand.
  • Jackets and hi-vis — outdoor crews and anyone working before sunrise.

Screen print or embroidery?

Screen printing is cheaper and better for large front or back graphics on tees. Embroidery costs more per piece, reads more formal, lasts effectively forever, and is the right call on polos, caps, and outerwear.

Plenty of businesses run both — embroidered polos for customer-facing staff, printed tees for the crew. Build both jobs and put them in one cart. See custom embroidery for the full breakdown.

What to upload

The editor accepts image files directly. Which formats depend on the method, because the methods need different things from your file.

MethodAccepted filesWhy
Screen printingPNG onlyNeeds a transparent background and hard edges so each ink color separates cleanly onto its own screen.
DTF / full colorPNG or JPGPrints full color, so a flat photographic file works. PNG still preferred if you want a transparent background.
EmbroideryPNG or JPGWe convert your image to a stitch file, so either works. Clean, high contrast art stitches best.
SublimationPNG or JPGFull color process, same as DTF.

Rule of thumb: screen printing needs a PNG. A JPG cannot hold a transparent background — it fills it in white — and that white box will print. Everything else takes PNG or JPG.

Frequently asked questions

Can we set up a reorder account?

Yes, and it is the main reason to have one. Create an account at checkout and your past jobs stay there with everything saved. Reordering skips setup charges and produces an identical result.

Can you invoice us instead of taking a card?

Call (772) 460-6677 and ask. We handle net terms for established local accounts. First orders generally go through standard checkout.

How do I get a price?

Build the job in the online editor and the price appears as you go. Change the quantity, ink colors, garment, or print locations and the number updates immediately.

There is no quote form and nothing to wait for. Most people have a real number inside two minutes.

What is the minimum order for screen printing?

15 pieces per design. Screen printing has fixed setup work — burning screens and registering the press — that happens whether you order 15 shirts or 500.

Need fewer? Switch the method to DTF in the editor. No minimum, full color, and a single shirt is a normal order.

What does it cost?

Three things move the price: quantity, ink colors, and which blank you pick. More pieces and fewer colors means less per shirt. Screens are a one-time $30 per color, and we keep them on file so reorders skip that charge.

Rather than quote ranges at you, the editor prices your exact job live.

How long does it take?

Standard turnaround is 5–10 business days. Rush runs 24–72 hours depending on the size of the run and what is on the press schedule.

Hard deadline — a game, an opening, a shift change? Put it in the job notes when you order and we will confirm in writing before we produce.

Can you match my exact brand colors?

Yes. We mix plastisol to Pantone (PMS) numbers. Set your ink colors in the editor, and if you have official PMS codes put them in the job notes so we match to those rather than to our best guess.

What file formats do you accept?

Screen printing: PNG only. DTF, embroidery, and sublimation: PNG or JPG.

You upload the file directly in the editor and see it land on the garment immediately, so you know it worked before you order.

Why does screen printing only take PNG?

Because a JPG cannot store a transparent background. It fills transparency with white, and on press that white becomes a printed white box around your design. PNG keeps the background genuinely empty and holds the hard edges each screen needs.

If all you have is a JPG for a screen print job, send it to sales@a1aprintshop.com and our art department will convert it properly.

My artwork is a PDF / AI / EPS / a sketch. Now what?

That is what sales@a1aprintshop.com is for. Send whatever you have — vector files, a PDF, a photo of something drawn on paper — and our art department turns it into a print-ready file.

Once it is ready you will have a PNG you can drop straight into the editor and order like anything else. The email route is for artwork only; ordering still happens in the editor.

Do I get a proof before you print?

You build the proof. What you see in the editor — garment, color, print size, placement — is what goes into production, so the usual back-and-forth over a mockup does not happen.

We still review every file before it goes on press and will contact you if something will not reproduce well at the size you set.

Can I order different sizes in the same run?

Yes, at no extra charge, and you enter the breakdown yourself in the editor — a grid of sizes by garment color, so you can see exactly what you are ordering.

2XL and up carry a small blank upcharge from the mill, which the editor applies automatically. We box everything sorted by size.
